Observing Group

The Toledo Astronomical Association maintains an email list to assist those who wish to meet
up with others for ad hoc observing sessions.  The method of use of this mail group is for anyone to announce their
interest in observing at a specified time and place.  Interested persons can reply to such postings to
confirm participation in the same session.

To join this observing mail list send an empty email to "observe-subscribe at toledoastronomy.org". (Don't copy as this address as it is typed, you know how it should be.) You'll receive a confirming email, follow it's instructions.

To use this list, send an email to "observe at toledoastronomy.org". (Don't copy as this address as it is typed, you know how it should be.) stating something like "I am interested in observing on July 27 TH beginning at 10:00 PM, at Smith Rd. School, Temperance MI.  Confirm if attending".  Those who are interested may reply with "whatever".  If you get announcements and are not interested in attending, do not bother the rest of the group by saying "No", just ignore the posting.  This is kind of an experiment. We'll see how it works.
